International Mountaineering Camp “Pamir” (or IMC “Pamir” for short) was founded in 1974 by the decision of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports under the Council of Ministers of the USSR. In the first years of work, the camp staff built houses for the camp management and coaches, a canteen and then gradually sauna, a shower room and a bar.
For the convenience of our clients, we accommodate them inside the houses in IMC “Pamir”. Each room has beds with mattresses, blankets and linens, a table, chairs and heaters.
In the spacious dining room, you can not only eat, but also use it as a conference room, arrange a team meeting or even play table tennis.
You can sit and relax after walking, acclimatization or climbing in our cozy “Ilyich’s” bar. Inside there is a bar counter and several tables where you can order drinks, play chess, checkers, backgammon and other board games.
Another popular form of relaxation after hiking in Pamir mountains is sauna. And in our camp, it is truly magnificent. There is also a shower room with three cubicles inside the sauna building.
