Eduard Inozemtsev

Eduard Inozemtsev was born in the city of Barnaul, Altai Territory, Russia on March 29, 1974. He is now 48 years old. At the moment, he lives a hundred kilometers from his hometown – in Zarinsk city.

Eduard became interested in travel as a child when he first read the magazines “Around the World”. In his first trip to Mount Belukha (4506 m.), he was amazed by the view of the Akkem wall and since then he has a desire to engage in mountaineering, rather than hiking.

He has been mountaineering since 1998.

In 2002 he climbed Khan-Tengri Peak (6995 m) for the first time. Gradually, Eduard went to all the seven-thousanders of the former USSR – the peaks of Lenin (7134 m.), Communism (now Somoni peak; 7495 m.), Evgenia Korzhenevskaya (now Ozodi peak; 7105 m.) and Pobeda (7439 m.). Thus, Eduard Inozemtsev fulfilled the requirements for the honorary title “Snow Leopard” (previously called “Conqueror of the highest mountains of the USSR”).

Eduard has been working as a guide under Lenin Peak since 2014 and has climbed it 8 times. In total he has 21 ascent on Lenin Peak, 5 times – Khan-Tengri Peak, 3 times – E. Korzhenevskaya Peak, 2 times – Communism Peak, 1 time – Pobeda (Victory) Peak.

He took part in more than 100 rescue operations in the mountains (including those at an altitude above 6000 m), including Lenin, Khan-Tengri, Korzhenevskaya and Communism peaks.
