Svetlana Fedina was born on May 9, 1969 in Russia, in the village of Aginskoye (now located in the Trans-Baikal Territory).
Candidate Master of Sports in mountaineering.
Since 1986, she has been training in the team of “Burevestnik ” sport club, Omsk.
From 1991 to 1997 she was in the team of CSKA of the Central Asian District under the leadership of Ervand Ilyinsky.
As part of the CSKA team completed many technical routes, icluding high-altitude ascents to Lenin peak in 1991 and 1992, Communism peak from the Bivachny glacier in 1992, Khan-Tengri in 1993.
