Asia Outdoor team invites to join us in Khan-Tengri Peak expedition in season 2025!
The stunning pyramid of Khan-Tengri Peak is undeniably the Jewel of the Tien-Shan. Located in the northern, remote region of the vast Asian mountain range, Khan-Tengri is the second-highest peak. Locals refer to its white summits as “The Mountains of Heaven.” In 1931, a Soviet expedition became the first to reach the top of Khan-Tengri via the West Ridge and West Col. Since then, Soviet climbers have ascended most of the mountain’s faces and ridges.
One of the classic routes we offer begins from the south, with the Western Col accessed via the Southern Inylchek glacier. This route is quite popular among mountaineers. Depending on the weather, climbers typically use 3 to 4 camps to reach the summit of Khan-Tengri Peak.
