Ski touring in Jyrgalan

After arriving at the “Manas” airport, you will be met by a guide, with whom you will go to the Chunkurchak gorge (40 km., 1.5 hours).

After accommodation at the ski base, we will have training sessions, during which the guide will look at how you stand on skis, check your skiing technique and general preparation for ski touring. The base has five modern chair lifts with a total length of more than 4.5 kilometers. The maximum length of the tracks is more than 10 kilometers, the height difference is about 370 meters.

After skiing we will have a welcome dinner.

After breakfast we have a long road to Karakol (400 km, 6-7 hours). Lunch on the way to Issyk-Kul lake. After arrival in Karakol we will go for a walk around the city and have a short city tour.

Transfer from Karakol to the guest house/yurt camp. After lunch we will have a briefing and then we will go to try the slopes closest to the camp.

These days we will ride in the Jyrgalan valley. It will be possible to order a snowmobile transfer if necessary.

Jyrgalan is famous for its slopes littered with snow, heavy rainfall and lack of crowds of skiers, and thanks to accommodation in a comfortable yurt camp, you will have the opportunity to have a great rest after a day of skiing.

We will move to a new skiing area, which is located higher in the Jyrgalan mountains to search for new slopes. After lunch and a short discussion with the guide, we set off to see the slopes near the camp.

After a few days spent in a populated resort area, we will move to a quieter place. Riding in the upper reaches will allow you to enjoy unbroken and untouched routes. Beautiful wildlife and advanced trails will add to the program the feeling of a real freeride.

Today we descend from the yurt camp to the village of Jyrgalan and from there we leave for Issyk-Kul. Hotel accommodation. Today you can spend time and relax by the lake, go to the hot springs and swim in the pool.

In the morning we will still have time to enjoy the rest on the lake.

After lunch start back to Bishkek. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and you can walk around the capital of Kyrgyzstan, see the sights and relax in any institution in the city.

Transfer to the airport for your flight. Departure home.

The camp is only 8 km away from the city of Karakol and is located in the beautiful Ak-Suu gorge. The highest ski slopes reach 3800 m and with the help of snowmobiles you can get to the most remote of them.
